S.P.E. (Pty) Ltd is an ISO 9001 accredited (through DQS) jobbing shop that utilises state-of-the-art machinery to meet all your sheet metal production requirements.

We manufacture goods in Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. Because we do not have our own range of products we are able to focus all our attention on our clients’ needs and requirements. We bridge the gap for companies, by providing a service for those who do not wish to invest in machinery, or whose job quantities do not validate the above mentioned.

We are able to accommodate the full range of production needs from the beginning of the process, such as laser cutting and punching up until powder coating and electroplating in our fully-automated plants. We ensure that your product has the quality finishes that you demand.

Our services

S.P.E. prides itself on its ability to cater to all metal fabrication requirements, from consultation and drafting to fabrication and finishing services.

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting machines, coupled with the CNC process, enables S.P.E. to accurately produce highly complex flat form parts, easily and repeatedly with an exceptional level of precision.

Punching

S.P.E.’s punching offers flexible manufacturing runs without the need for high capital expenditure dies and stamping presses. High volumes are not required to justify the use of this equipment due to the modular nature of the tooling employed.

Bending

S.P.E’s substantial tooling capabilities and a 220-ton press enable S.P.E. to bend stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium in almost every combination requested by plastically deforming the material to change its shape.

Full Fabrication

S.P.E’s jobbing shop is fitted with a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art machinery enabling it to undertake complex medium to high volume fabrication projects from conception to completion.

We believe in Cluster-style management system. The factory is split up into clusters headed by Production Controllers. Overseeing the Controllers is our Production Director and our Quality Manager. The secret of our success is that each department is accountable for the goods produced therein and the quality thereof.

Laser
  • 4 Off FO-3015 4KW lasers with a 3000 x 1500 bed: Cutting up to a maximum thickness of 20mm Mild Steel, 12mm Stainless Steel and 10mm Aluminium.
