Stainless Precision Engineering (SPE) was established in 1989 and boasts various ISO and EN certification accreditations.

 

The state-of-the-art One Stop Fabrication Job Shop utilizes a wide range of CNC and robotic equipment, processes and continually improved procedures to meet all your metal fabrication, finishing and assembly requirements.

Components and Fully Completed Products are Manufactured in Medium to High Volume to customer specific specifications and designs. SPE’s one of a kind exclusive facility is equipped to fabricate components and products from sheet, plate, solid sections, tube etc. Commonly processed metals are but not limited to; Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum and most other Ferrous and Non-Ferrous materials.

We are able to accommodate your specific range of fabrication requirements from inception with basic first phase production processes such as laser cutting, punching and bending expanding to machining, tube bending, welding, grinding/fettling, polishing/brushing and finishing with powder coating, wet spray and electroplating in our fully-automated plants.

Our Offering

We believe in a Cluster-Style management system. The facility is split up into clusters headed by Department Managers. Overseeing the Department Managers are the IPQ (Innovation, Production, Quality) managers. The result is that each operator and department is fully accountable for the goods produced therein and the quality thereof.

Our facilities

SPE has been operating since 1989. We are a privately owned organization with over 250 employees. The 17,000m2 under roof facility is laid out to systematically to optimize production flow with processes as follows:

Drawing Office

  • SPE utilizes the latest 3D design technology to provide clients with new standards in drawing excellence.

Stores

  • Raw materials and goods received, controlled and dispatched internally on Visual Works Manager (VWM) our internally developed and continually improved ERP system.

 

Laser

  • 1 Off 3KW Fiber fully automated loading tower and part removal for Sheet/Plate processing;
  • 1 Off 6KW Fiber semi automated loading and off loading for Sheet/Plate processing;
  • 2 Off 4KW C02 for Sheet/Plate processing;
  • 1 Off 4KW C02 for Sheet/Plate/Tube/Section processing.

 

Punch/Laser-Punch Combination

  • 1 Off 30-ton Turret punch press;
  • 1 Off 30-ton Turret punch press with 4kw C02 laser combination;
  • 1 Off 20-ton Turret punch press.

Machining

  • 3 Off CNC Machining centers’;
  • 3 Off CNC Turning centers’;
  • 5 Off Drilling/ tapping machines;
  • 1 Off Full complement of digital and conventional measuring instruments.

Bending

  • 2 Off Press brake 7 axis 80-ton 2500mm;
  • 1 Off Press brake 7 axis 130-ton 3000mm;
  • 1 Off Press brake 5 axis 100-ton 3000mm;
  • 2 Off Press brake 7 axis 220-ton 4280mm;
  • 3 Off Press brake 3 axis 35-ton 1200mm;

Welding

  • 3 Off Robotic Welding Systems– including a 4-ton manipulator and two multi-axes turntables;

Grinding / Polishing / Cleaning / Marking

  • 1 Off Time Saver surface grinder;

Powder coating, Wet Spray & Electroplating

  • 1 Off Semi-automated conveyor powder coating plant with 5-stage cleaning, drying oven, spray booth & baking oven;
  • 1 Off Fully-automated conveyor panel powder coating plant with 5-stage cleaning, drying oven, spray booth & baking oven;
  • 4 Off Grit/sand blasting rooms;
  • 2 Off Batch Ovens (powder coating);
  • 1 Off Batch Oven (wet spray);
  • 1 Off Chromate plant (aluminum);
  • 1 Off 13 stage Zinc Electro Plating Plants

Assembly, Wrapping & Dispatch

  • Full assembly department;
  • Automated wrapping machines, shrink wrap machines and conventional packing;
